hmmm we used to have cheap stat foods at the town hall taverns on special days... is this still viable? the fact that there is trouble in the air might also give this opportunity for our citizens to beef up on meat (no pun intended) for a cheaper price.

i would love to see some forum celebrations though.. however that doesnt seem to be too... mmm... it dont seem too likely...

Yes indeed, money we got , and not such troubles as other towns.
Use them as you wish Outlaw but some cheaper food in the tavern would be nice.

Of course no bread to bother the activity of the private taverns but other meals.

Contact with giangio to receive the County fund.

I think you have a great idea mmm on lowering food in the tavern for the day but I was also think that maybe we can take a portion of it and give each citizen a stat piece of food like milk, fruit, or veggies and for two days we can have meat and fish in the tavern this is just a idea and some way we can incorporate all citizens of bw in even those who do not go in the taverns tell me what you think

mmm i like... something along the lines of a gift to every citizen.... though the expences of a stat food for everyone would be huge... maybe a loaf of bread for any citizen who turns up and asks a particular person who can then sell them one for the lowest price? or something like that.... be very hard to manage ... well maybe not but it seems rather confusing to my fuddled brain right now Razz

well i was thinking that not everyone goes into the tavern and are town is a fruit town and in town inventory we have fruit and milk and veggies now if i can figure out how to do this is the plan i have the funds that was given by the council and have figured it out that it would work if there was less then a 100 people citizens in bw but my thinking is exhausted right now with everything else lol

It used to be that the town would get a cash grant from the county to subsidize food, and then would put a set amount of food in the tavern to sell at the lowered price. For instance, we might get 500 pounds, and then offer 100 bread at 5, 50 meat at 12.70 and 50 fruits or veggies at 8.50. This would all be done through the town hall tavern to prevent anyone from buying it all off the market and reselling it elsewhere.

By the way, the numbers given above would be about a 5 day supply of cheap food in the tavern based on my experience.
