Well folks, here we go again!

Advisers: Bellos & Vicombra
Town Merchant: Rebo
Police Chief: Barerose (He accepted)
Head Mentor: Poliphilus (I think)

I'm a little busy just now gettin settled in, but here we are for starters, lets see if everyone can at least post to say hi! ;)


Oh and I remembered something else, I'd like all councillors to mention there position briefly in there in game profiles if possible (somewhere near the top) ESPECIALLY those with grant market buying powers, and the reasons for those, so that people know whats going on.

Also! Who would like to be official spokesperson? to talk to the general populace via taverns/forum of the doings of the town council and mayor?

Hello there Mike and all my fellow Council Members, it is fine indeed to become a member of such a fine and notable group. Together we will make this term a grand one indeed. I have noticed though that there is no thread for the Chief of Police in here, and was wondering if it would be possible to make one. CPD HQ or something to the effect. It would be a place for all to post thoughts and suggestions on misdoings they have witnessed, or have suspicions of to aid in the protection of our great town, without the watchful eye of the general public.
I don't know, only a thought. Good to be a part of this and I wish nothing but the best for all of Chard this and all of the rest of her great terms.

Bellos is happy to serve for yet another term.

Welcomoe BareRose. Ahh I remember you first coming to Chard.

It would be an honor to serve another term with you all. As always, we will work together to ensure Chard prospers and Chardians grow even more prosperous.

I am very happy to welcome Bare, as I know he has only the greatest of intentions for Chard and Chard's people. He will surely set the bar high for the Chief of Police position.

I would certainly be willing to be the Spokesperson, but I think it would be more appropriate for an adviser to do so.

In the mean time, I think it would be appropriate, if Bavi does not accept, to appoint someone else. That kind of gets rid of the whole point of the runner up though, seeing as who ever gets appointed isn't necessarily an "opposition" voice. What does everyone think? Is it more important to have a full council, albeit not as chartered, or ensure we stick with the charter of the council and only have the position filled if one of the opposition accept?

Is there any way to vote on this, to hold an election for Deputy Mayor for this was an odd election indeed. Filled with controversy and such, and I fear an out right appointment will further divide the town in its time of need. I don't know, I think we just need something that will help bring us all together again.

I'll continue pondering this for a bit, and feed back is more than welcome on this working idea. Also is Poli banned out, for I heard he is leaving Chard as well, we shall need another to fill his seat soon, and I would like to take this opportunity to nominate Sela, not because of our relationship, but because of her constant involvement to all the matters that so concern our good town and its new comers.

Pol is gone to greece, therefore he's no longer Head Mentor
Marshy is travelling England, therefore she is no longer Minister of internal affairs.
I've decided to let Marshy be deputy mayor since she was our previous mayor, and the closest thing I could think of.
