The wedding reception of Islandbabe and Malion

Malion squeezed Babe's hand gently as they walked from behind the curtain to the dance floor. He looked into her sparkling, brown eyes as they began to dance. He is completely oblivious to the world around him, he see's only the beautiful woman he can now call his wife. He feels like he is dancing on clouds. When Malion hears the music pick up he spins Babe around the room. As the music finish's he dips Babe then pull her back into his arms.

Malion is brought back down to earth as he hears Lem run over, shouting and pointing out the window. He takes Babe's hand and gently kisses it before they walk out to the patio to watch the magnificent fireworks. He turns as Babe does to greet Tris and Silver. He smiles as Silver gives him a manly hug. I know, she's so good to me. Malion smiles at the two beautiful cups Silver hands them. He feels truly blessed at all the wonderful friends he has.

He moves about the room still holding Babe's hand as they greet all they're friends and thank them for coming. As they look at all the wonderful gifts from everyone, Malion spots a very familiar figure lurking around the cake. He acts as though he does not see Mfe trying to sneak a bite.

As Malion gazes about the room, he remembers his gift. He spots Lem and gives him the signal. Lem smiles crookedly and then runs out the door. He returns a few minutes later with three small puppies following behind him. All three had bows around their necks, two were blue as they were males and the other one was pink, as she was a female. Malion smiles at Babe as Lem and the puppies approach.

As the fireworks come to full light I hear a familiar voice coming from inside her laughter fills the room.
Marzena seems to be having a wonderful time with the other guest when I hear a thumb I turn trying to see what has taken place when I see Silvermane and Trisalene standing behind us.

The fireworks come to an amazing glory of an ending both Malion and I turn to Silvermane and Trisalene giving them hugs.

Bowing to the two of them Silvermane smiles again and stands beside Trisalene as he gazes at her and his eyes share the love he feel s for her with his friends.

As I stand marvel at the beautiful gift I listen to Silvermane his word bring a smile to my face.

We then return into the hall the orchestra plays the song “The Woman in Me”, all the couples take to the floor to slow dance with their partners and some find partners to join in the dancing.

As Malion and I are about to step back onto the dance floor I see Saph enter I rush over hugging her. In a low voice I say: “I am so delighted you made it.”

As I give Saph another hug for her wonderful present I notice Brother Rook enter the Ballroom and politely excuse myself. Malion and I go over to greet him we exchange handshakes with him.

I speak up saying: “Greetings Brother Rook, thank you for the perfect Wedding.”

As I look into the envelope my eyes water, I look back up to Brother Rook. I wait for Brother Rook to finish, I then reply: “You giving us these, performing Baptism and our Wedding is more then we could have asked for, thank you and yes we shall wear them." As the attendant walks by we each take a glass of wine and cheer to our health.

As our crystal glasses are raised in the air tapping one another in my peripheral view I see Raffiox walk in as we take a drink of the wine. Raffiox walks over salutes then shakes Malion’s hand. I look at Raffiox snicker reply: "Evening happy to see you made it and no need to salute me here but greatly appreciated.”

Listening to Raffiox words I smile to him reply: “Your presence is enough of a gift or maybe a few extra push-ups might do the trick.” As I giggles I see that Llop and Caitlin have arrived.

Excusing ourselves we walk over to greet them. I extend my hand to Llop in doing so I catch Caitlin and we hug. Then I turn to Llop and give him a hug, smiling I reply; "Your presents are exquisite to say the least, thank you both so very much.”

James followed Mady into the ballroom and starts to sweat profusely. He looked nervously around for awhile and parted with Mady soon after. Working himself towards his sister, he pulled her aside and revealed the present he brought.

As James pulls me aside I wonder what he is up to before I can utter a word he speaks;
"Remember you gave me three carvings sis? I have three for you too. One representing you, the other Mal, and the last one is for your future child."

James smiled nervously and wondered if his sister will accept his gift.

I reply; " I do remember quite well I love these I know exactly where I shall place them.”

As we embrace I see my husband coming over to us I show him the presents his face glistens.

I hear someone enter the Ballroom behind me as I turn I see it is my dear friend Allikath. I watch her as she stumbles to a chair I can see in her face that she is not well. I walk over to her say; “Oh my dear friend you should have stayed home we could have connected later.” I then ask; “May I get you anything?”

I chuckle at Mady’s word reply: “Let you be part of it how could I not include you, you are one of my close friends, it was my pleasure to have you there to be apart of it all. To have you take the time to share in our most joyous moment and thank you.”

The orchestra starts playing an upbeat song I look to Mady ask: “Care to join us on the dance floor?”

Malion and I quickly take to the floor dancing around like young pups when I catch Sogon enter.

Watching him I notice he has headed to the table where all the gifts have been placed and notice him mumbling to himself. I smile at the thought of what Sogon might be thinking and Malion and I continue to dance.

Inside the box, is a small magnetic couple keychain.

The Orchestra takes a break Malion and I take the opportunity to mingle with our guest. We first stop over by the gift table read Sogon’s note I smile to Malion as his gentle gray eyes smile back at me. Malion and I walk hand in hand over to where Sogon is seated. As we reach him I reply; “Thank you Sogon I can see you gave a great deal of thought and compassion in your presents to us, they will come in great use.”

Watching Mfe sneak around the cake, I smile to myself knowing I promised him one of the smaller ones to him. For him to eat it all if he wished. As I turn back I see Lem coming with three small puppies my eyes beam with delight as I see them. I turn to Malion ask; “Those for me?” I continue: “One for each of us!” My eyes meet Malion’s I wrap my arms around him kissing him tenderly then I turn to Lem who is standing beside us with all three puppies. I bend down kiss Lem on the cheek, ruff his hair then ask: “Lem you are going to live with us aren‘t you?” “I want you to.” “That is if you will accept me as part of your family.” “You will have your own room and” …… I turn to Malion smile then back to Lem…“if permitted would like to adopt you.”

Archywald was even more overwhelmed by all the beauty he encountered at the party. All the decorations were perfectly in order and the cake made him drool though he knew he couldn't touch that yet.
Then he joins the queue with people waiting for their turn to congratulate the happy couple. When it's his turn Archywald drops the large bag that he was carrying on his shoulder. He opens it while explaining......

I don't know if you have any plans on arranging your things when you go to live together but I just couldn't help making you something in my new workshop. I hope you like it.

As he pulls a big roll out of the bag he unrolls it to reveal a rug.

After hugging them both he moves on to sit at a table with the other guests awaiting all the nice food.

Sighing slightly he thinks this is the most wonderful day he has ever witnessed.

As I am hugging my husband thanking him for my wonderful presents I hear foot steps coming up behind us. I turn see Archy, I smile as he approaches carrying a large container.

We stand listening to Archy and watch him pull out the beautiful rug that he has brought with him.

I stand tap my crystal wine glass bring the attention in my direction, say: "Malion and I would like to thank all of our friends for coming to support us and being there when we shared our love bringing our two lives to one. Please enjoy the feast that is coming your way. And my deepest thank you to all of you for all the wonderful presents."

I continue; "Now enjoy the food then we shall commence to cutting the cake after we all have had time to consume our meals." I chuckle: If Mfe has left any.

Finishing her food Marzy looks around. She seems her good friend Frosty being led around by Lethion. She can not but helps and giggle at the two. Many couples spinning around and enjoying their time and Even to Marz the cake is looking delicious. She was thankful that she just ate the sweet and juicy fruits.

Feeling better she looks around seeing Silver and Trisa as well spinning around. She can not help but smile broadly at them. Much of Somerset was changing, and she might note seemingly for the calm and love. Two features that all would enjoy. The festival had gone very well and smoothly. Much brightness in their futures she leaned up against Hein.

Recalling their moment in the garden she quickly beams with a huge smile. Watching as the reception continued on, and as it should for her good friend. She wondered how well their honeymoon would go. Snickering rather loudly at this thought.

After walking around the room greeting everyone, Tris finally comes before Babe and Malion and presents to them her gifts.

She comes to Babe first and opens her hand, revealing a pendant.

"This pendant was worn by my dearest… and one of my only… friends of the past before I came to GC... She was a strong and beautiful woman, and she never gave up on the call of her heart. She never backed down to a challenge. She never lost strength or resolve against any odds. Yet when it came to what she loved, she had a heart as soft and true as ever I have known. She was always there for me… You remind me very much of her my dearest friend Babe….. And so I wish you to have this. Let the memory of the spirit I keep with this pendant be with you and remind you always of the strong beauty of your own spirit…"

Trisalene smiles warmly, embraces Babe as she hands her the pendant, and kisses her cheeks. She then turns to Malion and pulls out another piece of jewelry from the small pouch she carries.

"My dear Malion. This is also a gift from my past… It was given to me be a sailor in remembrance of a short trial we shared. He was a kind and gentle man under the guise of a thick-hearted man of the sea. He was quiet and watchful… and a bit of a bull in a china shop it I might say so.” Tris laughs, “But I owe this man my life… I want you to have this ring. Let it remind you of the sea from whence it came and of our friendship."

Tris smiles and hands Malion the ring, embraces him, and kisses his cheeks.

“Now then don’t let me keep you two… Mr. and Mrs. Scott.”

Tris winks and hurries off to find Silvermane.

Upon reaching him, Silver takes her hand, kissing it, and asks her to dance. She smiles and takes his hand.

Trisalene dances with Silvermane, smiling all the while as she gazes at her love and lets him glide her across the floor. She sighs softly, effortlessly moving to his lead. As he leans her down and kisses her lips, she blushes softly and returns the sweet kiss. They then return to the table.

Revan grinned at Heinrich. "Yes, I am having fun. It's quite a party ... and it seems I'm not the only one who is enjoying themselves." She leaned in closer to her Jahfather. "Really, I am happy for you. All that I can ask for is your happiness, and it's in the way you look at her that tells me that she is something special to you. You deserve that and much more."

"Hello Marzena, I am glad that ... the outdoors ... was able to help you. Good to hear that your head is clear, now perhaps the night can go on and you can enjoy yourself." Revan noticed the present that Malion gave to Islandbabe. "Ooooh, look at the pups! So adorable!" She smiled as she sat back and enjoyed the wine and the rest of the festivities.

Lem brought in the three puppies and smiled at Babe. Since the time he had come to Gloucester he had learned to love Malion and Babe. He hadn't really thought about what would happen once they were married he was just happy that his two favorite people were getting married. Now that he had been asked the question, he realized that he couldn't think of anybody else he would rather call mom and dad. He smiled up at Babe as she kissed his cheek and nodded his head.

Malion smiled as Babe brought up adopting Lem. He thought it was a great idea. He watch's as Archy unrolls the beautiful rug. He shakes Archy's hand and smiles as Tris approach's them. He watch's silently as Tris gives Babe the beautiful pendant. He smiles as Tris turns to him and hands him the handsome ring. Thank you Tris. I will always cherish this. He slides it onto his right ring finger then hugs Tris. He turns to Babe, takes her hand and Lems then walks over to the table and pulls out her chair for her to sit. He smiles as he watch's Mfe stuffing his face with cake. Care to join us?

As I go to take my seat I see Trisalene coming our way, I nod and smile to her. I walk around the table in order to greet her properly. " Hello Tris, are you having a good time and did the ushers bring you the correct food?:

I stand listening to her words as tears fill my eyes I know that for her to give me something so precious and meaningful I shall treasure it too. Not only because what it means to her but what it means to her and myself for her to give it to me.

After Tris finishes I find myself a lost for words, I return her hug and kiss upon her cheek…. Then and only then do I reply: Tris I will….. *looking at the pendant*…. I will treasure this ….* I look up into her eyes*…. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for such a valuable gift.

As Tris moves over to Malion I stand in awe of the gift and listen to her as she speaks gently to my husband.

Putting her one hand on Lethions waist and taking his hand with her other. Her eyes glistened, giving him a tender smile as he lead her spinning and twirling around the dance floor, lost in the music Frosty was surprised at how graceful he was.

Heinrich thanked Revan for her kind words and walked over to Lady Marzena, who was pacing slowly around the ballroom floor. He cleared his throat and spoke to her from behind…

My Lady, would you like to dance?

Turning to the familiar voice of Heinrich a smile falls her face as she nodded her hand. Holding up her hand, and then not waiting for even a moment as she stepped light footedly forward towards Hein and the dance floor.

“Of course I will.” she smiles waiting the escort to spin around the floor with this finest of gentle men. Feeling slightly light headed, and tingling all over to his offer.
